The Knoxville School Board met in a regular and special session on Monday night.

The special session was a public hearing relating to the 2024-2025 certified budget. In the regular session, a presentation was given by middle school teachers and District Director Allison Emery in regards to the new middle school curriculum that the board later approved the purchase of at the meeting. The board then approved the use of the north section of Ken Locke Stadium and west alley to be used for a professional wrestling event during RAGBRAI. The board also approved revisions to the 2024-2025 school calendar, a Midwest Demolition Contractors change order, and the 2024-2025 fall/winter sponsor contracts.
