Iowa House District 21 candidate Spencer Waugh will hold a campaign kick-off event on April 16th in Knoxville.

The event will be from 5:00-7:00 pm at Nearwood Winery and Vineyards just south of Knoxville. Iowa District 21 serves communities in Marion and Warren counties including Knoxville, Indianola, Milo, Lacona, and other rural communities, a seat currently held by Brooke Boden. Waugh moved to Iowa in 1994 to attend Central College and made it his home. After teaching for many years at Indianola and Dowling Catholic high schools, Waugh currently works at Simpson College helping undecided students, and has led the Simpson debate team to six national championships over the last nine years. The three main platforms Waugh is running on are education, individual liberties, and mental health.

The campaign kick-off event is free and open to the public.
