The Indianola boys soccer team went 1-1 in a tournament at the Cownie Soccer Complex in Des Moines Saturday, falling to Bondurant-Farrar 5-1 but defeating Des Moines Christian 6-2. The Indians were down 3-1 in game one and nearly clawed back on a penalty kick, but the shot was saved and the Bluejays went on to score as Indianola went into scramble mode. In game two, the Indians dominated from the start, getting up early and staying ahead. Max Martinez scored three goals on the day, while Allan Martinez, Hunter Chittenden, Aiden Stafford, and Anson Miller each found the back of the net once. Indianola is now 3-6 on the season, and will next play at Pella on Tuesday.
