The Knoxville City Council met in regular session on Monday night.
The meeting started with an oath of office administered to Firefighter Cole Sharp. There was then a public hearing relating to the fiscal year 2025 budget and approval of the budget, the submission of a thriving communities application, a Habitat for Humanity grant, and of the Veterans District concept plan. The meeting concluded with two amendments to city code, and the approval of a down payment on a new ambulance chassis.
