In a clash of ranked teams across the classes, #1 in the Class 1A coaches poll Pella fell to #6 in 2A Waukee Northwest in a home non-conference girls tennis dual Wednesday afternoon. Head Coach David Bouska called this an opportunity to play state tournament-level tennis, and both teams delivered. Pella found singles wins from Mallory Westerkamp and Bryn Higginbotham, who also won their doubles matchup. Addison Van Wyk and Abby Hietbrink found the other victory for Pella in #5 doubles.
