The City of Indianola Spring Cleanup appliance drop-off is today at the Indianola Brush Facility, with curbside spring cleanup beginning Monday.
For the appliance drop-off, electronic waste, specifically including cell phones, computers, computer monitors, DVD players, fax machines, televisions, VCRs and video game systems will be accepted at no cost during regular hours.
Items during cleanup week will be picked up on recycling day, and must be out on the curb by 7am, and only large items not hauled through the weekly service will be picked up, which does not include construction materials, railroad ties, or tires, and items that are bulky and difficult to handle.
