The Warren County Board of Supervisors held the public hearing on the FY25 budget at their meeting Tuesday, part of a series of special meetings that took place Tuesday.

Public comment centered around possible changes to the zoning code, county building inspections and codes, in addition to possible personnel hiring by the county.

The budget was approved in a 2-1 vote, with Supervisor Crystal McIntyre voting against, with $351,600 removed from the proposal for building code enforcement, but including budgeted money for raises for elected officials, however the raises have not been approved by the supervisors and may be considered at a later date by the board.

The board first met in a work session to discuss the Warren County Administration Building Auditorium and DHS work requests, then approved the funds for the projects in a special meeting after the work session.
