Early Goals Help Boys Soccer Roll Over Albia
Six of the eight spring sports were in action for Knoxville on one of busiest nights so far. The boys soccer squad rolled over Albia 7-2 and it did not take long for the Panthers to tally a score as Connor Willis scored one of his two goals of the night just 6:00 into the match. Rylan Robinson also scores twice with Hunter Gray, Ezra Schmidt and Kaison Wilder scoring. Schmidt tells KNIA/KRLS Sports after they lost a tough match to Albia earlier in the season, it was nice to get some revenge.
Schmidt: “I think we were the better team and we were ready to go playing on our turf that we practice on and we got ready.”
