Both Melcher-Dallas Track and Field Squads were at separate events on Thursday as the boys went to Monroe and the girls were in Osceola. The boys finished 9th with four team points. The best finish for the Saints was a 7th place in the shuttle hurdle relay. The team of Colton Cox, Eric Kirkpatrick, Austin Remster, and Cael Caikoski finished in a time of 1:23.86. The girls finished 4th in class B with 69 total points. Trista Hansaker continued her strong effort in the 100 by winning that event with a time of :13.96. The distance medley team of Haylie Hendrickson, Gabby Overgaard, Hayden Branson, and Hailey Stegman combined to finish 2nd in the time of 5:10.78 and Overgaard placed 2nd in the discus with a throw of 99 feet two inches. The Melcher-Dallas Boys Golf Squad went to the Moravia Invitational and was 22nd in the team standings with Drew Heberlin firing a 98.
