Mother Nature swept the weekend at the Knoxville Raceway as the World of Outlaws Nos Energy Drink Sprint Car Series show was canceled on Saturday at around midday. Officials decided to cancel when weather models showed the potential for severe weather in Knoxville Saturday afternoon and into the evening which were accurate as on and off rain showers and thunderstorms rolled through the area from the late afternoon into the evening hours. The Knoxville Raceway will wait until this Saturday to open the 71st season of racing. KNIA will have live coverage with Live Track Side at 5:00pm and Race Nights Live at 7:00pm
