The PCM boys golf team took first place in the Heart of Iowa Conference Tournament on Tuesday, with three Mustangs finishing in the top four.

The Mustangs shot 306 as a team at Lincoln Valley Golf Course in State Center to win the 18-hole event. It was a four way tie for first place with a score of 75, but PCM freshman Charlie Ford finished as meet runner up with Nick Farver and Easton VanVeen also shooting a 75 to finish third and fourth decided by a card back by handicap. Other scores for PCM include Jeffrey McDanel shooting an 81, and Pete Kiernan and Tate Tangeman both shooting an 85. 

The Mustangs will next compete on Friday at Colfax.
