It was the day of the green and white in the Little Hawkeye Conference as the Pella boys and girls tennis teams swept up both conference championships with clean sweeps at both tournaments.

Perhaps it’s a reflection of the postseason hopes of the #3 ranked boys and #2 girls teams in Class 1A, or their senior-heavy rosters, but Pella was able to claim every first place medals.

Boys individual champions: Jack Briggs, Ben Van Gorp, Cameron Rowe/Joshua Roozeboom, Nile Rozenboom/Jordan Schaffer

Girls individual champions: Emily Blom, Mallory Westerkamp, Alloree Else/Lily Van Dusseldorp, Claire Smock/Bryn Higginbotham

Both Dutch tennis teams return to competition after Tulip Time; the girls will host the regional state singles and doubles qualifier on Monday; the boys will have the district individual bracket at home on Wednesday.
