The track poles at the Knoxville Raceway are lit up red and will continue through Sunday to honor fallen firefighters.

This weekend is National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Weekend and is a time to honor and remember the sacrifices of America’s fallen fire heroes. The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation invites landmarks, fire and community organizations, businesses, and homes across the nation to light up red as well. The Knoxville Fire Department encourages the community to reach out with any questions regarding the initiative.
