The Knoxville Public Library has announced the theme for their 2024 summer reading program.
The theme for this year is “Read, Renew, Repeat” and will have a strong focus on the outdoors. The program will officially start on Tuesday, May 28th with an ISU bug zoo being held at the library on May 30th to kick off the program. Roslin Thompson encourages all kids in the community to participate in the summer reading program. Thompson says she looks forward to the theme for this year.
“It’s coming up, and we are really excited. It’s an exciting theme. It always is every year. This year’s theme is Read, Renew, Repeat. Every year they have a theme that is pretty broad and general and this year we are looking at camping, conservation, being outside, outdoors, and just having fun.”
