The Indianola girls golf team placed 3rd at Ottumwa Friday, while the Indianola girls tennis team went 2-1 at the Waukee Northwest Quad.
The girls golf team scored a 357, led by Cam Overton shooting an 81, Reese Lucas carding an 89, and Abbie Corbett scoring a 91. The team next hosts the third and final Little Hawkeye Conference meet on Monday, and with a win would secure a second-straight conference championship.
The Indianola girls tennis team defeated Mason City 11-0, North Polk 8-3, and fell to the host Wolves 1-10. Brynn Bishop and Ceris Askelson went 2-0 on the day in singles, while Keely Greubel, Emily Allen, Mackenzie Blackford, and Ryen Blosser all earned one win, while the doubles team of Zoey Belt and Paige Dahl earned the only victory over Waukee Northwest and went 2-0 on the day, while multiple other Indianola doubles teams were mixed in over the three matches. The Indians next compete in a tournament at West Des Moines on Monday.
