One of the best small-school rivalries in southern Iowa gets another chapter written in its history book as Twin Cedars hosts Melcher-Dallas in a girl/boy basketball doubleheader tonight. The Sabers with a 2-2 mark while Melcher-Dallas is 2-3. Both teams are in rebuilding mode this season but both coaches say it is always in intense rivalry. Twin Cedars Coach Justin Nolte hopes the full court press will translate into more opportunities for his team. Melcher-Dallas Coach John Sunkten says he wants to have a presence inside.
