A showcase of the depth of the Pella track and field programs will once again be on display as the boys and girls travel to the district meet in Saydel for state qualifying today.

The Dutch are gearing up for several entries to next week’s State Track and Field Meet in Des Moines. The top two from each event tonight will automatically earn bids to Drake Stadium, while eight at-large qualifiers will be added from across the state based on time or distance.

This year’s contenders are listed below based on best results from the season among the teams competing in the district meet, starting with the Pella Boys (please note athletes can compete in a maximum of four events, and may not end up qualifying in the events below):
