The first-ever Monroe Classic Madness Car Show will be held on the Monroe city square on Saturday, June 8th. All cars and trucks are welcome to participate in the event, and registration, which begins at 8 am, is $20. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Gathering Place in Monroe. The first 100 vehicles registered before 10 am will receive one hot breakfast voucher provided by the Gathering Place. In addition to the car show, other activities will include live music, activities for kids, a raffle, a silent auction, and bingo. Awards will also be given to cars participating in the event and will include top 25 in show, the Mayor’s Choice, the Fireman’s Choice, the Community Choice, Furthest Traveled, and the King and Queen choice. All of the awards will be made by students at PCM High School.
