The Knoxville City Council met in regular session on Monday. 

The meeting started with two mayoral readings of a proclamation for National Public Works Week and National Emergency Medical Services Week. The council then held a public hearing and approved a Fiscal Year 2024 budget amendment with some key large expenses being moved to the 2025 budget. The meeting concluded with approval of an agreement between the city and Iowa Inspections LLC for fire inspection services.
