The Norwalk baseball and softball teams will look to build on last week’s momentum with separate non-conference games tonight.

The Norwalk baseball team is hosting Ballard at 7:30 p.m. with a chance to reach the .500 mark. The Warriors started the season 0-3, but picked up wins of 5-2 vs. Carlisle and 3-2 at Gilbert last week. Ballard enters the contest at 1-3 overall.

The Norwalk softball team travels to Adel to take on ADM at 7:15. The 3-0 Warriors are ranked 2nd in Class 4A while the 4-1 Tigers are ranked 10th. Norwalk opened the season by defeating three top-10 teams from Class 5A last week, including a 1-0 win at top-ranked Ankeny Centennial on Thursday night.
