Five members of the Simpson College softball team were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team.

Megan Heidelbauer, Kate Kriegel, Caelynn Obleton, Madeline Petersen, and Ashlyn Steen all received the honor. Kriegel and Petersen are earning their second straight Academic All-District distinction, while Heidelbauer, Obleton, and Steen are taking home their first honor.

Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced June 18.
