The PCM softball team defeated Perry on the road Wednesday night as the baseball team came up short.
The #15 ranked Mustang softball team defeated the Jayettes 7-0 as Rylee Parsons had an impressive outing on the mound throwing 4 ⅓ innings and picking up nine strikeouts only giving up one hit. Parsons also surpassed 200 strikeouts for her career. At the plate, Hadley Millang went 2-3 on the night with a two-run homer run for her first homer of her career. Lillian Humpal went 2-4 with a double while Libby Winters went 3-3 with two stolen bases. After the win the Mustangs improve to 4-1 on the season and will be back in action tonight at home against Grand View Christian.
The Mustang baseball team fell to the Bluejays 4-3. PCM had six hits as a team with two of them coming from Trigg Steenhoek. Nick Farver threw 5 ⅔ innings for PCM picking up eight total strikeouts. After the loss the Mustangs fall to 2-6 on the season and will be back in action on Friday against Roland-Story.
