Two people were injured in a crash south of Knoxville on Highway 5 Saturday evening. The Iowa State Patrol reports a Ford F-150 operated by 19-year-old Levi Wagler of Albia was traveling southbound, when at 9:30 p.m., the truck crossed the center line near the intersection of G-62 and hit a GMC Yukon driven by 39-year old Kelly Bouchard of Jefferson in a head-on collision. Both drivers sustained serious injuries and were transported to Knoxville Hospital and Clinics. Among the responding agencies were the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, Knoxville Fire and Rescue, Knoxville Township Rural Fire, and MercyOne.
