Following an off day on Thursday, the Norwalk baseball and softball teams close out the week tonight with non-conference road games.

The Norwalk softball team will look to bounce back from their first loss of the season when they travel to Ames for a varsity doubleheader at 5:00 p.m. The Class 4A top-ranked Warriors lost to ninth-ranked Dallas Center-Grimes 6-3 on Wednesday night and are now 11-1 overall. The Class 5A 12th-ranked Little Cyclones have won eight straight games to improve to 9-2.

The Norwalk baseball team travels to Grinnell to face a former Little Hawkeye Conference rival at 7:00 p.m. The Warriors lost a close 2-1 decision against a talented DC-G team on Wednesday, falling to 6-8 overall. The Tigers entered Thursday on a six-game winning streak to improve their record to 8-6.
