The Webb Shadle Public Library in Pleasantville has started their summer reading program and will hold special events for the program throughout the summer.

The first event will take place on Monday at 10:30 am, as Eichenberger’s is hosting special guest Cubbie Bear from Iowa Cubs for a storytime at the library. Later this month, award-winning illusionist Keith West will bring his magic show back to the library on Saturday, June 22nd at 10 am. In July, Webb Shadle will welcome Logan Jimenez to the library for their Giant Bubble Show on the 6th, and the final event will be the annual pet show on Saturday, July 27th.

Reading logs for the Webb Shadle Public Library’s summer reading program can be picked up at the front desk of the library and must be returned by July 27th to be eligible for prizes.
