The Knoxville Baseball Squad fell to Newton on Tuesday night 14-4. Coach Turner Devore told KNIA/KRLS Sports his team gave the Cardinals several more outs than they wanted to and that was their undoing. Luke Roozeboom took the loss. Knoxville is now 7-10 on the season and will have today off before remaining out of conference against another Little Hawkeye Conference team traveling to Pella Christian on Thursday.
