The Pella girls basketball team remains ranked No. 5 in class 3-A in this week’s Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union rankings.  The Lady Dutch are 3-1 following this week’s win over Norwalk.  Ballard – which handed the Pella girls their only loss in the season opener – remains the top-ranked team in Class 3-A.  

The number one teams in the other classes remain the same this week as well, with Stanton and OA-BCIG atop Class 1-A and 2-A, respectively; and Des Moines East holding the No. 1 ranking in Class 4-A.  

Also of note are nearby girls basketball teams from North Mahaska and Lynnville-Sully, which are respectively ranked third and eleventh in Class 1-A.
