The Pella Christian baseball and softball teams continue their second run through Little Hawkeye Conference play Monday night, welcoming Dallas Center-Grimes to Eagle Lane.

The Eagles baseball team will have their hands full in the doubleheader, as they look to hand the Class 4A #3 ranked Mustangs just second and third losses of the season. Pella Christian and DCG last met on the baseball diamond on May 31st, where the Mustangs used a six-run fifth inning to grab a 9-4 victory in the opening game of the season series. 

On the softball diamond, the Eagles and Mustangs will only play one game Monday night, as Pella Christian is forfeiting game one due to injuries. Squaring off with Class 4A #6 ranked DCG, the Eagles are hoping to improve upon their 14-2 loss against the Mustangs that occurred on May 31st. 

First pitch of the baseball doubleheader between Pella Christian and DCG is slated for 5:30 pm Monday night, while the lone softball game for Eagles and Mustangs is slated to start at 7 pm.
