The 13th Annual Lake Red Rock Balloonfest returns July 12th through the 14th. 

Entertainment, food stands, activities, and more return to North Overlook Beach for the three day event, with four total balloon launches scheduled. Matt Kissinger with the Lake Red Rock Balloonfest Committee says that the event was created to bring people together.

“So, that was the whole purpose of the event, was to unite the greater county and actually statewide getting people here. It’s Lake Red Rock, so it’s a great asset to the community and just trying to pull everybody into the area. And it’s worked. I mean for campers, we know that campers, come January when they can book sites, they’re booking for our weekend. They’ll contact us and say what weekend is it and their coming, so there’s a lot of people that are super excited about it and we love them.”
