The Knoxville City Council met in regular session on Monday. 

The meeting started with a public hearing and approval of a general obligation loan agreement. The council then approved a contract with Curtis Architecture and Design PC for services associated with the Community Development Block Grant Downtown Revitalization Project, downtown facade improvement grants in a split vote, a 28E agreement with the city and Newton Speedway, and a resolution approving a billing services agreement between the city and Physicians’ Claims Company Inc. 

The meeting concluded with council approving an amendment to city code pertaining to ambulance fees, and a resolution setting salaries/wages  for appointed officers and non-collective bargaining unit employees with the City of Knoxville for the Fiscal Year beginning July 1st.
