The Melcher-Dallas Boys and Girls of Summer fell in non-conference action to East Union on Monday. The softball Saints lost 6-5. The Saints were able to tie the game twice but were never able to get the go-ahead run home. Hayden Branson 2/5 with two runs scored. Lotty Nolte, Jenna Mickey, Brooklyn Metz and Danni Enfield all got hits. Nolte took the loss, scattering seven hits and striking out six. The Baseball Saints gave up a six spot in the 4th inning and fell 11-1. The Saints were held to just two hits on the night with one each coming from Reece Chiabotta and Austin Remster. Rocky Johnson took the loss going four innings. Both Melcher-Dallas squads will welcome arch-rival Twin Cedars tonight.
