The theme of this week’s Thursdays in Pella activities will be block party. The event includes a Lego contest to begin near the Tulip Toren from 6 to 6:30 p.m., as youth is encouraged to drop off their creations before that time to have a chance to win prizes. Several activities are taking place throughout Central Park, including a dunk tank, face painting, balloon animals, a rock climbing wall, robotics, giant Jenga, and more. There will be free sweets throughout the event, along with the return of the expanded food court. Seth Wagen will perform live from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. before the City Band performs at 8:00.
