The Melcher-Dallas Softball Squad was unable to hold an early lead and fell to Lamoni on Thursday 5-4. The Saints struck three runs in the top of the 1st inning when an error scored a run, then Gabby Overgaard blasted a home run to center field to score two more. However, the Demons would chip away at the lead, finally taking advantage in the 6th inning. Hayden Branson had two hits to lead the Saints. Lotty Nolte took the loss. The Saints travel to Seymour tonight.
