After a trip to Dallas Center resulted in a sweep for the Pella summer teams, the Dutch will regroup as they try to add last minute wins to their postseason seeding resumes in Oskaloosa.

Both Dutch squads were dominant in the matchups with the Indians on June 5th; the #14 in 4A softball team (13-9 overall, 8-6 in the conference) won in five innings 10-0, despite multiple stranded baserunners by Osky. Pella’s baseball team (16-7, 10-4 in league competition) fell behind 2-0 before scoring 12 unanswered runs against Oskaloosa.

With postseason brackets about to be released, both Dutch teams are hopeful they can complete season sweeps at both doubleheader sites tonight. Varsity action begins in Oskaloosa at 5:30 p.m.; radio coverage will include game two of Dutch-Indians softball this evening on 92.1 KRLS.
