The PCM softball team defeated South Hamilton at home on senior night Monday night as the baseball team fell in Heart of Iowa Conference matchups. 

The #10 ranked Mustang softball team defeated the Hawks 3-1 to earn the season sweep of South Hamilton. Rylee Parsons was the winning pitcher for PCM throwing five innings and Camden Webb threw two to pick up the save. Libby Winters had the best night offensively for the Mustangs going 2-3 with a triple, run scored, and RBI. After the win the PCM softball team improves to 18-3 overall and 12-1 in the conference.

The Mustang baseball team fell to the Hawks 8-2 in their contest. Shay Burns pitched four innings in the game for the Mustangs while Carson Hansen pitched three. Senior Jack Jungling had two hits on the night while Jake Wendt had a solo home run in the fifth inning. After the loss, the PCM baseball team falls to 8-12 overall and 5-7 in the conference.

The PCM baseball and softball teams will both be back in action tonight on the road as the softball team travels to Knoxville and the baseball team heads to Atlantic for non-conference action.
