The Friends of Webb Shadle Public Library are offering tethered hot-air balloon rides as part of their Summer Reading Program fundraiser on Saturday, July 20th, weather permitting.

The event will be held at the Pleasantville Sports Complex and tickets cost $50 per person. Forty pre-sale tickets for the first hour of the event are available for purchase now, while tickets for the second hour will be first come, first serve the day of the event. To secure your tickets, contact Jennifer Latch, at 515-306-2944 or Jenniferlatch73@gmail.com, and specify the number of tickets you wish to purchase. Pre-sale tickets can be picked up at the library the day before the event or at will-call on the day of the event. All participants must sign a waiver before riding, and riders must be at least three feet tall. 

The tethered hot-air balloon rides fundraiser will take place on July 20th from 7-9 pm.
