The Knoxville Softball Squad played in its seventh one run game of the season and the second to go extra innings against Newton on Monday, but the Cardinals got the win in the bottom of the 11th inning 1-0. The Panthers fell to 10-11 but 2-7 in one run games this season. Knoxville is off tonight but will play at Chariton on Wednesday for a shot at the South Central Conference title. Meanwhile, on Panther Drive tonight, the Knoxville Baseball Squad will host PCM. The Panthers and Mustangs played last year with Knoxville winning 5-2 in Prairie City.
