The PCM baseball team will play their opening round of Class 2A Substate 6 at home on Saturday against Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont.

The Mustangs finished the regular season with a 9-12 overall record after their last scheduled regular season game for Tuesday night at Knoxville was canceled due to weather. The Mustangs last competition was on June 26th when they defeated Nevada 10-0. PCM will now look to make some noise in the postseason against a 8-21 Rockets squad who lost their last regular season game against Pleasantville 6-0 on Wednesday night.

Saturday night’s substate game in Prairie City will start at 7:00 pm.
