It was a strong start for the Pella offense and the Dutch pitching staff stranded several runs from Ballard in a 5-0 win heard live on 92.1 KRLS Friday.

The home team scored three runs in the first inning and added tallies in the 2nd and 3rd, which was enough for the full seven and to earn victory against the Bombers. Nathan Vande Lune tossed five scoreless innings on the mound, while Lake Cowman added a two-run double in the first inning and Isaiah Kettler went 2-for-4 at the plate with an RBI.

Pella improves to 22-8 overall and heads to Fairfield on Monday to begin the final three regular season games of 2024.
