Friends and family of the late Milly Zellmer welcomed the broader area community to celebrate her life and support a new preschool opening in Pella at a benefit Saturday. Milly Moo’s Love for the Little Dutch academy had a wide range of activities and food for all ages to honor the memory of Milly, a preschool student killed in a sledding accident in February 2023. A silent auction was held with several experiences, gift cards, and other donated items, and a giving tree had at least two-thirds of its items purchased, all to support the new Viersen Early Learning Center at the Little Dutch Academy opening this fall.
