The 2024 Marion County Fair will kick off today.

This year’s fair theme is “Barn in the USA” and it will be filled with livestock on display, livestock shows, 4-H projects on display at Dyer Hudson Hall from members of all area clubs, contests, games, daytime and evening entertainment, and more. This year’s evening entertainment lineup includes Cooper Alan in concert tonight, sprint car races on Saturday, a rodeo on Sunday, Impact Pro Wrestling on Monday, and a demo derby on Tuesday. There will also be food and activities for all ages at the fair. 

The opening day of the fair today will include a dog show at 8:30 am, open class judging, a coloring contest from 2:00-3:00pm, Absolutely Jim at 3:00pm and 5:00pm, open skate at the skate pit from 3:00-6:00 pm, the evening Cooper Alan concert at 7:00 pm and more. The KNIA/KRLS Big Red Radio will be at the fairgrounds for the entirety of the fair.
