The weather is turning hot, and the racing may be just as hot tonight at the Knoxville Raceway. Along with all of the fair activities, tonight’s attraction will be the sprint car races. A lead change at the top of the 410 points race has Aaron Reutzel ahead of Austin McCarl by just 22 points after last week’s racing. Jamie Ball has full control of the 360s with just four more regular season points races to go. Ball’s 281 point lead is not insurmountable but it would require him to have a bad night for drivers to catch up. In the Pro Sprints, Mike Mayberry had lengthened his lead by 50 over J Kinder, who continues to be the hottest driver in that class winning four of the six nights with his only blemishes a 4th on June 8th and a runner-up finish last week.
