The Friends of Webb Shadle Public Library are offering tethered hot-air balloon rides as part of their Summer Reading Program fundraiser next week, weather permitting.

Ticket prices for the event have been reduced courtesy of an anonymous donor, with presale tickets now available for $25 per person. The deadline to purchase presale tickets is Tuesday at midnight. Tickets will still be available the day of the event for $40 per person, and will be first-come, first-serve. To secure your tickets, contact Jennifer Latch, at 515-306-2944 or Jenniferlatch73@gmail.com, and specify the number of tickets you wish to purchase. Pre-sale tickets can be picked up at the library the day before the event or at will-call on the day of the event. All participants must sign a waiver before riding, and riders must be at least three feet tall. 

The tethered hot-air balloon rides fundraiser will be held at the Pleasantville Sports Complex on Saturday, July 20th from 7-9 pm.
