Former Knoxville Girls Basketball Great Katie Keitges is coming back to Knoxville to put on a camp for elementary and middle school aged kids in August. The Katie Keitges Basketball Camp along with the Knoxville Youth Activities Alliance will be August 5th and 6th at the Knoxville Middle School. Keitges, who is the all-time scoring leader in girls basketball at Knoxville and now plays at the University of Omaha, tells KNIA/KRLS Sports she has always wanted to put on a camp locally and to give back to the community that she grew up in.
Keitges: “I have always wanted to put on a camp for young athletes in my area. I want to have a camp for those kids and I like to have fun and I’m looking forward to the camp”.”
