Carousel Theatre in Indianola begins their production of “Urinetown” tomorrow, the first of six performances across the next two weekends. Alex Lindsley with Carousel tells KNIA News Urinetown is a musical that takes place in a city with a terrible water shortage, caused by a 20-year drought, which has led to a government-enforced ban on private toilets.
Lindsley said the show is a mix of satire, comedy, drama, and contains a powerful message. The shows will be in the Indianola High School Auditorium with Friday and Saturday shows at 7pm, and Sunday shows at 2pm. Find more information below.
