The 2024 National Balloon Classic is set for July 26th through August 3rd in Indianola, with the theme this year of Just Look Up. National Balloon Classic Executive Director Staci Scheurenbrand tells KNIA News the National Balloon Classic relies on hundreds of volunteers to make the nine-day event successful, and volunteers are an essential component and help in all areas, including balloon chase crews, public information, gate hosting, ticket taking, hospitality, gift shop attendants, clean-up crew, and parking assistants.
