The Warren County Fair begins tomorrow, beginning a busy week in Indianola that includes the afternoon stop of RAGBRAI, the National Balloon Classic, the Celebrate Warren County Parade, and the Indianola Art Festival.
Warren County Fair Director Jo Reynolds tells KNIA News in addition to all the normal fair food you could think of, there are several additions this year.
“One is Alejandro’s Concessions. For those that are local and might know Marty MIller and Noe Garcia, they have teamed up to bring some exciting new favorites. They have mango on a stick and some marquesitas, and they let us sample those ahead of time and I can tell you they are fantastic. The other one we are bringing in is Taylor’s Curious Orange. Just about everything you can do with an orange to have a drink is what he is doing. And I think we’ve heard tell that he is bringing a walking banana dessert, so I’m excited to see all of this.”
