A local resident is finding success in his professional racing career. Pella High School Graduate and Pro Stock Motorcycle Racer Chase Van Sant won his first National Hot Rod Association title at the NHRA Northwest Nationals at the Pacific Raceways this past weekend. Van Sant is a Pella resident who has been touring the nation in the racing circuit, which included Rookie of the Year Honors last year. Van Sant was recently featured on Today’s Lely Radio Sports Page.
