The Indianola City Council meets in regular session this evening, scheduled a week early in place of the August 5th meeting. The council will consider waiving the third reading of an ordinance establishing a speed zone on Hwy 92 near the Indianola High School and Middle School crossing, from 45mph to 30mph with flashing speed zones during school hours. The council will also consider waiving the third reading of a clarification in a city ordinance regarding zoning of construction sales and services, contractor offices, offices for plumbers, electricians, HVAC services, or similar uses. The meeting begins at 7pm in the city council chambers at Indianola City Hall.
