Roof repairs are set to begin at the Grand Theater in Knoxville and they will be closed starting on Monday.

According to the theater, these repairs have been due for a long time and the theater will be closed until they are complete. This weekend, the theater will still be showing the movie “Twisters”, but they are not able to start any new releases at this time. The theater asks the community for patience and support during the repairs and stated on a social media post “we pride ourselves on giving you the best movie theater experience and we hope you’ll be here when we open back up.”

This weekend “Twisters” is showing at 2:00 pm and 6:45 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
